Reez Bailey is an NYC based actor and soon-to-be graduate of the MFA Acting program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has performed regionally with PlayMakers Repertory Company, Frosted Glass Collective, and Theatre Raleigh, among others.

Next up, Reez will appear as Malcolm in Macbeth at PlayMakers. Other recent productions include You Can’t Take It With You, Death of a Salesman, Murder on the Orient Express with PlayMakers, Peter and the Starcatcher with Theatre Raleigh, and King James with PlayMakers Mobile. Reez originated the leading role of Dizzle the Elf in The Christmas Case of Hezekiah Jones, also at PlayMakers.

Reez has nearly 10 years of training in acting and musical theatre at institutions including UNC-Chapel Hill, UW-Stevens Point, and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He is also an experienced educator, having taught acting classes and provided private acting coaching to elementary school, high school, and undergraduate students.

In addition to acting, Reez is passionate about stage combat. Drawing from years of competitive fencing experience, he is certified with distinction in Short Sword and continues to train in this area. He is also a massive fan of Dungeons & Dragons, and feels incredibly lucky to make epic storytelling his career.
